Company History

Founded in 1984 Beaconsfield Timber and Hardware was created by Gerald Treasure, to cater for the local builders, tradesmen, owner builders and handymen with their Timber and Building Supplies.

Growing strongly from that time for over 20 years the company is now a second generation family business.

Expansion has seen us out grow our original showroom and office space and the building of a purpose built store of 2,500 m2 in 2007.

In conjunction with the new store opening we have joined forces with the Home Hardware group, becoming Beaconsfield Home Timber and Hardware P/L.

The new store on our existing site with an Old Princes Highway frontage is designed to complement the existing timber yard and provide a large retail presence for our existing trade clients and the large residential growth in the local area.

Including a trade drive through for under cover loading, dedicated trade desk, power tools section, paint, plumbing, electrical, white goods for our trade clients and a nursery, out door furniture, home wares section for the retail customer now and into the future.

With the same dedicated staff we are now able to offer the complete package in Timber and Hardware, for all projects large or small with friendly, personal, and prompt attention at all times.
